Zirconium Crown
A Zirconium Crown is a full-coverage dental restoration made from zirconia, a high-strength, biocompatible ceramic. These crowns are milled or layered to match the shape and colour of a natural tooth and are designed to fit over a prepared tooth or an implant abutment to restore function, form and appearance.
Placement usually involves preparing the tooth, taking an impression or digital scan, and fitting a custom-made crown that is cemented or screwed into place. Zirconium crowns are valued for their durability and aesthetic qualities, can be used on front or back teeth, and generally require the same oral hygiene and care as natural teeth to ensure long-term success.
